This course is designed to equip all PEPFAR funded partners’ M&E staff with the basic M&E skills required to comply with PEPFAR reporting requirements and processes. Participants will be introduced to Monitoring and Evaluation, understand the difference between the two terms and be able to implement M&E practices independently. Competencies such as the development of an M&E plan, reporting on data, managing data quality and conducting data quality assessments, with a specific focus on PEPFAR requirements, are acquired through this course.

Participants are required to complete both modular assessments in the form of multiple choice questionnaires as well as a written assignment. A pass rate of 50% is required in order to be successful.
The maximum period for completion is 3 months.
